Frequently Asked Questions

You can find all information about the application process in the mach-mit channel on our Discord Server. Here, however, in short form:

Basically you have to build two buildings from the real world in 1:1 scale on our server. These application buildings are built on our plot system, which can be used to learn how to build. You simply choose a free plot from a list of given cities and build a realistic building there, based on the references provided in the chat.

Plot system instructions:

1. Join server - IP: bte-germany.de
2. Click on the compass in the lobby, select “Plot server
3. Select plot via the “Companion” item (Netherstar)
4. You will receive a prepared building plot and all the necessary links in the chat
5. Build the specified building true to detail
6. Repeat the whole thing for a second plot

Notes: After 2 weeks of inactivity, your plot will be automatically deleted.

After the construction phase:

• Submit both plots via the Netherstar for evaluation
• If they score over 9 points, they are considered accepted; if they are rejected, you can implement the feedback and resubmit the plots
• You can then apply with your buildings as a Builder ->

Builder application

1. Visit the BuildTheEarth website
2. Take screenshots of your buildings (F2) and your references (screenshots from e.g. Google Earth) - upload the photos to imgur
3. Answer all questions and link your screenshots or reference photos
4. You will receive an answer via bot message in your DMs - usually within 48 hours

As soon as you have been accepted as a builder, you can now build wherever you want.

You can teleport with /tpll [coordinates].

You can join our servers with versions 1.8-1.21.4. However, we work with 1.21.4 and our modpack is also optimised for this version. Other versions can lead to performance problems under certain circumstances.
